I stopped drinking coffee because of what I see...oh so judgmental... that humility is a pain in the tookis...no cussing :)KooolOuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17012797240981000662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3115795635117944100.post-55236236131026230742009-01-30T07:02:00.000-08:002009-01-30T07:02:00.000-08:00Ross's roommate is the master roaster at Casteel C...Ross's roommate is the master roaster at Casteel Coffee in Evanston. We get yummy fresh small-batch roasted coffee! Right now, as I write even, we are drinking OBAMA BLEND! It's a blend of coffees from Hawaii, Kenya, and Indonesia. And delicious!

As for the meat eating. I must admit that I wish I ate less meat. When I stopped being a vegetarian, I promised myself I wouldn't have meat more than a couple times a week. But I definitely eat meat sometimes at every meal. If I eat breakfast at home however it's usually homemade yogurt with fruit and granola. But if I go out there is usually bacon involved! I mostly stick to chicken, but especially in the summer it's hard to pass up a good burger! I probably don't get enough fruit and leafy greans. I don't do a lot of cooking, so when I do buy produce there always seems to be a lot that goes to waste, and then I feel guilty about wasting money and food, so I don't buy anything. Then I start feeling guilty about wasting money eating out and not eating healthfully, and the cycle continues!
I read something once in a magazine that it's easier for women (it was a women's mag, it might apply to men, too) to stick to exercise and healthy eating plans if their goal is to feel better and not to look better. Just substitute "get closer to god" for "feel better" and it still makes sense. You're sacrificing for a higher purpose than just physical appearance. So there you go.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13927208604806225309noreply@blogger.com
